Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox is a Scottish born and bred singer. Her birth date was 25, December, 1954 in Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother and Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox had studied for three year in the Royal Academy of Music London in the 1970s, was admitted. She managed to make it on her student stipend while working part time jobs. Lennox wasn't satisfied with the level of her performance compared with other students at Royal Academy and began looking at other options. Lennox played flute in a band named Dragons Playground in 1976. The group broke up prior to their appearance as a guest on I.T.V's Talent show New Faces. Between 1977 and 1980 she was the vocalist in The Tourists. A British pop group. They met Dave Stewart, with whom formed the pop-duo Eurythmics. Lennox then began to work on her debut solo album Diva, which was released around 1992. The album was an enormous success both commercially and critically. Nostalgia Lennoxs Six solo album was released in the month of October 2014. is Nostalgia Lennox. The C.D. The C.D. is composed of Lennox's favourite blues, jazz, and soul songs of her youth. Additionally, in May 2019, Lennox released Lepidoptera a collection comprising four tracks improvised by piano. The E.P. This album is a companion piece of her "Now I let you go... artwork, which was displayed at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. This is also her first independent album. The group went on during the 80s, to become the popular duo Eurythmics. Lennox started her own solo music career in 1992, with an album titled Diva. It included a number of popular songs including Walking on Broken Glass and the song Why. Medusa is her album of studio work from 1995. It has covers of songs like"No MoreI Love Yous and A Whiter Shade of Pale. Her solo catalog includes six studio albums as well as a compilation album to her credit.
